Staff all set to meet with the public at the Royal Welsh Show

17 July 2015
  • A selection of staff from across our organisation will be hosting a stand at the Royal Welsh Show from Monday 20 July until Thursday 23 July.

Our annual plan highlights one of our main objectives, which is to “engage more effectively with the public, their representatives and other stakeholders to gauge the impact of our work, assess our performance and measure our success.”
The Royal Welsh Show [Opens in new window] is the biggest agricultural show in Europe and attracts around 250,000 people every year. This is a great opportunity for our staff to meet with the public and specifically:
    • talk about what we do
    • listen to what people have to say about the public services we audit
    • gather feedback on our work and organisation, and
    • promote the benefits of working at the Wales Audit Office through our Audit Trainee Programme.
If you’re attending the Royal Welsh Show, please stop by and say hello. We will also be tweeting from our @WalesAudit [Opens in new window] account all week – join in or follow our tweets via our hashtag #waoRW.
