Our review looked at how well Velindre NHS Trust manages its estate.
The Trust has a clear long-term vision for its estate that aligns well with organisational, national and sustainability priorities. Governance arrangements are well established, with clear accountability, strong operational oversight, and robust processes for managing capital investment. However, the estates strategy is not supported by a detailed delivery plan, measurable targets or clear links to workforce and digital strategies. Board oversight of strategy delivery is also limited.
