Audit Wales Graduate Trainee Programme is open for applications

30 November 2022
  • Applications for our graduate trainee programme are now open!

We’re excited to announce that applications for our graduate trainee programme are open.

Are you committed to improving public sector services? Do you see yourself as a future finance leader? Then our programme might be the one for you!

At Audit Wales, we offer a first-class, fully funded graduate opportunity to train as a chartered accountant. Our hands-on programme means you’ll be studying for your accountancy qualification while travelling around Wales investigating how the public’s money is being spent, and whether it is being spent well.

Our work is making a real difference to the citizens of Wales, and as an Audit Wales graduate trainee, you’ll play a big part of this and in the audit of over 800 public bodies across Wales. Just some of our clients include Welsh Government, NHS Wales, local government and more.

    Who are Audit Wales?

We’re the independent public sector audit body within Wales; our unique role is to assure the people of Wales that public money is being well spent and to inspire the public sector to improve. Some of our previous national work has looked at fuel poverty, COVID-19, homelessness and climate change.

    Why Audit Wales?

We care about the learning and development of our trainees, and you’ll be fully supported whilst you balance your studying with your day-to-day role as a trainee

And, we’ve also got an impressive list of benefits:

    • 33 days annual leave per annum (exclusive of public bank holidays)
    • Generous salary package
    • Cycle to work scheme
    • Shopping discounts
    • Professional subscriptions
    • Extensive learning and development opportunities, including LinkedIn licenses

Find out more about our exciting programme on our website.
