She is currently an Audit Lead in the Health team, with responsibility for delivering a range of NHS audit work. She is also the Audit Lead for Swansea Bay University Health Board and Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Before joining Audit Wales, Sara worked in the private sector. Her role focused on maintaining compliance in the delivery of catering, portering, and cleaning services across several NHS bodies in England.

Sara holds a degree in Public Service Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool.

Sara is one of two elected employee members of the Board.

Outside work, Sara lives in Liverpool with her husband Ian, daughter Amy, and dog Rufus.
