Social media guidelines

Our social media sites are places where we encourage interaction and discussion between staff, stakeholders, the general public and anyone interested in Audit Wales. If you post a question us on this site, we will acknowledge this as promptly as possible during normal office hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm). If your enquiry falls outside these hours, we will get back to you as soon as we can. If your post requires substantive consideration or the provision of extensive information, we will ask you to email us so that we can provide a suitable response in accordance with our correspondence policy or other relevant policy.

  • abusive or personal attacks;
  • material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing,
  • abusive, hateful or embarrassing to any other entity;
  • third party advertising; and
  • chain letters or ‘spam’.

We also reserve the right to terminate involvement by users who post such content. The views and opinions expressed on our social media sites do not necessarily represent those of Audit Wales. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information posted by external parties. For your safety and the protection of your personal data, never include your phone number, email, address or other personal contact information in a post. Your comments are visible to all.
