COVID-19

09 Tachwedd 2020
  • Neges gan Adrian Crompton, Archwilydd Cyffredinol

Like everyone, I am closely monitoring the fast-moving situation regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

As well as the delivery of my statutory responsibilities, my priority is to ensure the health, safety and well-being of Audit Wales staff, their families and those of our partners elsewhere in the public service at this incredibly challenging time.

In particular, I want to ensure that our audit work does not have a detrimental impact on our audited bodies and their staff at a time when the public service is stretched and focused on more important matters.

Our staff are working from home and we are liaising closely with all audited bodies so as to be as supportive and flexible as possible in the delivery of our work.

Adrian Crompton, Auditor General for Wales
