About the role

Audit Wales is looking to recruit a Senior Records and Projects Officer

Do you have an information management degree? Do you have a genuine interest in environmental and sustainable development? Would you like to take the next step in your career in a role that combines the two?

Yes? then our Senior Records and Projects Officer role may be what you are looking for. You need experience of line management, managing and maintaining records at organisation level, and project delivery, leading teams to support effective records and information management. 

If you also have experience of promoting positive change and the enthusiasm to engage with staff at all levels about environmental initiatives to drive improvement, then you may be just the right person for this role. 

Some of the work that you may do includes records reviews and data mapping across the organisation; supporting teams to manage documents and records effectively.  You will also be expected to promote, support, and lead environmental initiatives including, our new travel and biodiversity plans, our net zero plans and getting involved with other projects for our estate and more.

Being GREAT is at the heart of everything we do, we are looking for someone who has a passion for making a difference to the public sector through your sound judgment, analytical. and excellent communication skills.

What its like to work in our Business Services team.

Business Services is a multi-disciplinary team responsible for records management, facilities including estate and environmental management, procurement, and other related areas. You may have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and programmes to support our wider work in Corporate Services.
