Shared Learning Seminar
Future Wellbeing of Internal Audit

The combination of public service reform, the Wellbeing of the Future Generations Act and other legislations means that the public service landscape in Wales will be undergoing significant changes.

About this event
Public bodies will be expected to apply the five ways of working (integration, collaboration, long term, involvement and prevention) to the way in which they maximise their contribution to the shared common purpose set out in the national well-being goals.
This was an opportunity for Internal Audit to consider whether current approaches will be fit for purpose in a significantly changed operating environment.
Walking away from this seminar, delegates understood what these changes mean for internal audit and how they can be better placed to respond to the challenges facing public services.

Who the event was aimed at

This seminar was aimed at public and third sector managers and officers responsible for:
  • chief internal auditors
  • audit committee chairs and members, and
  • senior management teams with internal audit as part of portfolio.
