This Annual Letter (Letter) sets out the key messages arising from audit and inspection work undertaken over the last 12 months. It draws on published reports of other inspectorates to provide an annual summary of findings and conclusions to the Council.

This document has been prepared for the internal use of the Vale of Glamorgan Council as part of work performed in accordance with statutory functions, the Code of Auditand Inspection Practice and the ‘Statement of Responsibilities’ issued by the Auditor General for Wales.
