We reviewed the Council’s strategic approach to digital, and specifically the extent to which this has been developed in accordance with the sustainable development principle; and that it will help to secure value for money in the use of the Council’s resources.
Our findings are based on document reviews and interviews with a sample of Executive Committee Members and senior officers. The evidence we have used to inform our findings is limited to these sources. We undertook this work during June 2023. What we found: the Council does not currently have an effective strategic approach to digital.
