The benefits of agile working practices are more relevant than ever with the current economic climate. The notion of agile working extends beyond the traditional flexible working for individuals and aims to develop a culture that sees the public sector make the best use of its diminishing resources whilst ensuring improving and responsive service delivery. There is a significant desire across the public services to exchange knowledge so that practices can be shared, learned or improved, particularly in relation to:

  • Reviewing existing flexibility in working arrangements;
  • Reviewing/rationalising of expensive property portfolios;
  • Introducing agile working practice through the use of ICT; and
  • The inter-relationship between these key issues of People, Places and Processes

The seminar was aimed at Welsh Public and Third sector roles in particular:

  • Change Managers;
  • Policy Leads: and
  • Key Professionals from HR, Asset Managers and ICT
