Welcome to Audit Wales

17 April 2020
  • We’ve listened to feedback and changed our name

We’re changing our name after listening to feedback from our stakeholders, staff and the public in Wales, calling for us to improve the way we communicate. They want us to be clearer, shorter and more accessible.

They have also told us that our current multiple identities cause confusion and so dilute our impact.

Last year, the Auditor General for Wales and the Board set some bold new ambitions for the organisation. Our new personality helps to reflect this vision, our purpose and our values better.

This project is part of a much wider change programme which includes improvements to our audit reports; our website; our communications style and the way we engage with people. Find out more about our new identity and Annual Plan for 2020-21 on our publications page.

Our new website is in ‘beta’ and we’re asking for feedback to help us further improve
