Are you designing public services to achieve economic, social and environmental solutions for the Wales we Want?
If the answer is yes, come and learn from the experiences of the Basque Country (North East Spain) which is widely recognised as a dynamic and successful region.
When you consider any one of the seven wellbeing goals of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, the Basque Country demonstrates practices that are of interest and relevance to Wales.
Part of the success of the Basque experience is linked to how they organise their society, which includes a focus on; innovation, their competitiveness as a region, social entrepreneurship and cooperative behaviours.
Focussing on these areas helps to create a successful economy, resilient communities and reduces demand on public services.
This conference will be delivered in partnership with the Wales Co-operative Centre and Cardiff University Business School. It will provide the opportunity for attendees to learn about practices that contribute to the Basque Country’s success, and to think about how these could be adapted to create the Wales we Want.
Who is the conference for?
